Review Overview – What does Ampli-Fit do?
Made by ZBX solutions, Ampli-Fit is an all natural fat burner on the market that claims to promote:
- Fat Loss
- Metabolism
- Energy
But how well does it actually work?
In this review, we look closer at Ampli-Fit to see just how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With a suggested 1 serving per day – this isn’t your best option for maximum fat loss.
Your body can only absorb so much in one serving – and whatever it gets leaves your system after a few hours.
What you need to do is hook your body up with a constant supply.
Ideally, you need a fat burner that provides 3 – 4 servings a day. This ensures that your body gets enough of the nutrients it needs, so you can burn fat round the clock.
1 serving per day was a bad move from Ampli-Fit.
What about the ingredients in Ampli-Fit?
Some are okay – others aren’t great.
Not going to lie, there’s a risk of side effects when taking this product.
Not only that, it’s a proprietary blend – that means we don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, and how big the risk is.
It also means we don’t know how effective the product is overall either.
It’s not all bad though – there are some good choices here too.
Here’s what you need to know about main ingredients:
Skip to the bottom for an ingredients summary:
Caffeine
One of the best natural stimulants out there.
Caffeine is an ideal source of energy and helps boost your metabolism and focus. If enough is used, it can even help your power output in the gym.
It’s a great choice.
Phenylethylamine
An amino acid linked to producing the ‘happy hormones’ like serotonin.
But it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
Studies have shown Phenyl is broken down too quickly after being absorbed by your body.
Too quickly for it to properly utilized. It will not work via oral supplementation.
Glucomannan
A great appetite suppressant.
Glucomannan is a fibrous complex that swells in the stomach, making you feel more full.
The only drawback is that you need a high dose for maximum effectiveness – as this is a proprietary blend, it’s unclear whether we’re getting that here.
L-Tyrosine
An anti-stress amino acid.
This may counter any jittery effects you may experience from the caffeine in Ampli-Fit.
Green Tea
One of the better thermogenics out there.
Green Tea is great for fat loss. The catechins in the green tea make all the difference here.
Once absorbed, the catechins encourage your body to produce more norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone.
This increases your overall fat and calories burned throughout the day.
Raspberry Ketones
One of the worst fat burners on the market.
Raspberry Ketones are heavily marketed in the supplements industry – mainly because nowadays they are so cheap to produce.
There have been no human studies that confirm Raspberry Ketones promote fat or weight loss. It’s largely ineffective.
Yohimbe
An appetite suppressant – but nowhere near as good as Glucomannan.
Yohimbe bark reduces hunger cravings – however it has been seen to cause several side effects.
You can learn more in the side effects section.
Synephrine
Not a good option.
From Bitter Orange Extract, there’s very little evidence that shows Synephrine as an effective fat burner.
Not only that, studies have shown that it also promotes several side effects when mixed with caffeine, or caffeinated herbs like Green Tea – and both are in this product.
Kola Nut
Not a fat burner.
Kola Nut may help to some degree with blood flow. But it’s not going to make a world of difference.
L-Carnitine
An amino acid that has benefits.
Seen to boost metabolism and energy levels – L-Carnitine could have some benefit in fat loss.
However, studies have shown you need at least 500mg per daily serving to see any real benefit.
As this is a propriety blend – we have no idea if we’re getting that or not.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
When it comes to Ampli-Fit, the ingredients aren’t the best.
There are several problems, the first being the proprietary blend – you don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be because of this.
Secondly, there’s the side effect risks with the Synephrine and the Yohimbe.
It’s definitely not shaping up to be a high quality product.
Side Effects
The two areas you should be concerned with here are with the Synephrine, and the Yohimbe.
Synephrine is the worst of the two. When mixed with caffeine, this nutrient has been seen to promote:
- Headaches
- Increased risk of stroke
- High blood pressure
- Increased Heart Rate
Nausea
Whereas the Yohimbe increases:
- Anxiety
- Hypertension
- Gastrointestinal Distress
You definitely don’t want to be dealing with any of these symptoms while you’re trying to cut fat.
