Review Overview – What does SCITEC Nutrition’s PFX do?

Made by SCITEC, this is an all natural fat burner that has been claimed to promote:

  • Fat Loss
  • Weight Loss
  • Appetite Suppression

But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at PFX to see how well it really works. Here’s what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Could be better.

With only 2 servings a day, your body isn’t getting the constant supply of the nutrients it needs to constantly burn fat.

The effects of each serving wear off after an hour or two. So you need multiple to get the best results.

For maximum benefit, we recommend 3 – 4 servings a day. This is a good steady supply for reliable progress.

SCITEC need to up their game here.

What about the ingredients in PFX?

Not that great.

There’s one or two good ingredients in this product – but quite a few lack clinical backing.

Not only that, one of the ingredients may even cause side effects.

Here’s what you need to know:scitec-pfx-side-effects-1

Citrus Aurantium

A bad start to this fat burner.

Also known as Bitter Orange, and Synephrine – this nutrient has been thought to promote fat burning and energy.

However studies have shown that benefits from this nutrient are minimal.

Not only that users have reported various side effects with supplementing CA.

More on that later.

L-Carnitine

One of the better amino acids.

L-Carnitine has been seen to raise both energy and metabolism levels.

However it may not be effectively dosed.

Studies have shown you need 500 – 2500mg to get full benefit from L-Carnitine.

Being part of a proprietary blend that is 507mg, you may not be getting enough.

Choline

Also part of the proprietary blend.

Choline has been seen to promote focus and learning. It’s a good addition to have for cognition, but not fat loss.

Garcinia Cambogia

A poorer choice.

Garcinia Cambogia is claimed to be an appetite suppressant – however studies have shown otherwise.

There is no evidence that Garcinia curbs hunger – at most it may enhance the flavor of a dish as it’s traditionally a form of seasoning.

Green Tea

One of the better thermogenics.

Green Tea is full of antioxidants, namely catechins, which after being absorbed promote norepinephrine in your body.

Norepinephrine is the fat burning hormone, and having more of it burns additional fat stores and calories without any extra effort.

Caffeine

Arguably the best natural stimulant.

Caffeine has been seen to promote both energy and metabolism levels. Not only that, it’s also been seen to promote power output – which may help your performance in the gym.scitec-pfx-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile on the market.

One of the main problems are the side effect risks – you have the Citrus Aurantium to thank for that.

We’ll cover what you can expect in a moment.

There’s also a range of ineffective ingredients that don’t promote fat loss.

PFX just isn’t as well research as it could’ve been.

Side Effects

The main thing you have to worry about here is the Synephrine (Citrus Aurantium).

Users have reported several side effects with supplementing this nutrient – especially when mixed with caffeine.

Here’s a list of the common problems:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Increased Heart Rate
  • Risk of High Blood Pressure
  • Dizziness

It’s not your best option.

Is there anything better than this fat burner?

Definitely.

We’ve scoured the market for the best fat burners that promote:

SCITEC Nutrition PFX Review Conclusion

All in all, this isn’t the best fat burner on the market. Far from it.

From this review, here’s what you need to know about PFX;

  • Servings need improving – With only 2 servings a day, there’s not enough to ensure day long fat burning.
  • Potential Side Effects – Synephrine has been seen to cause several side effects.
  • Ineffective ingredients – Not all the nutrients used effectively promote fat loss.

As you can see, it’s not your best option.
