CleanCut is a natural fat burner brought to us by SCIFIT and its claimed to promote:

  • Thermogenic Fat Burning
  • Energy
  • Appetite Suppression

But how well does it really work?

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 serving a day, there’s only so much benefit you can get from this kind of fat burner.

The problem is your body is being constantly supplied with the nutrients it needs.

For the best results and that ‘day long’ fat burning experience you need 3 – 4 servings a day to keep your body constantly topped up and burning fat.

What about the ingredients in SCFIT’s CleanCut?

They’re not the best.

Although there are a few good ingredients in CleanCut, the main problem is that there’s a lot that are not.

On top of this there’s also a risk of side effects, which makes things a lot worse.

Caffeine

One of the better natural stimulants on the market.

Caffeine has been seen to increase energy, overall metabolism and power output in the gym.

Green Tea

A great thermogenic. The catechins in Green Tea have been seen to improve levels of norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone.

You’ll also get a mild caffeinated boost from it.

Phenylethylamine

An amino acid linked to releasing ‘happy hormones’ like dopamine and serotonin.

Unfortunately however, it’s broken down too quickly after absorption and can’t have a full effect.

Synephrine

Also known as Bitter Orange extract. Although thought to work well as a natural fat burner, studies have proved otherwise.

It’s also been linked to several side effects in some users.

Nettle Leaf

Nettle Leaf has not been linked to burning fat, but it may however boost testosterone.

Studies have shown nettle leaf contains beta Sitosterol – a compound that promotes free testosterone. This may promote energy – but not fat loss.

Vinpicetine

A cognitive booster that may promote memory and fat loss – it does not however promote fat loss.

It may be good for focus while training.

Yohimbe

An extract of a type of tree bark that has been linked to appetite suppression.

However, studies have shown this isn’t always effective as Yohimbe has been linked to several side effects.scifit-cleancut-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, there are only 2 good ingredients in SCFIT’s CleanCut – the caffeine and the green tea.

The rest of the ingredients are either not clinically backed, ineffective or even cause side effects.

There are better options out there when it comes to fat burners.

Side Effects?

The main ingredients you have to be careful about here are the Synephrine and the Yohimbe.

When mixed with caffeine, Synephrine has been known to cause problems such as headaches, nausea and risk of high blood pressure.

Secondly, Yohimbe has been linked to anxiety, hypertension and gastrointestinal distress – the last things you want while cutting fat.

As you can see, CleanCut from SCFIT could do with a lot of improvements from its current formula.

This is what you need to know from this review:

  1. Poor Servings – With only 1 serving a day, there’s not enough servings for all day fat loss
  2. Ineffective Ingredients – Many of the nutrients used lack clinical evidence for their effectiveness
  3. Potential Side Effects – Yohimbe and Synephrine have both been linked to causing problems
