  • Suppression of Appetite

But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Lean Genes to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 serving a day, this isn’t your best option for a fat burner.

Think about it. The effects wear off after only a couple of hours – and then for the rest of the day you’re getting no benefit.

It’s not enough. For the best results you need more.

Ideally that’s around 3 – 4 servings a day. This keeps your body constantly supplied with the nutrients it needs to keep you burning fat.

It’s a shame that RARI Nutrition didn’t factor that it.

What about the ingredients in Lean Genes?

Not that great.

The main problem with this product is the proprietary blends.

You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.

This is because all the ingredients have their dosages hidden under one larger value.

It’s also worth noting that some of the ingredients here may cause side effects.

Here’s what you need to know:rari-lean-genes-side-effects

Caffeine

One of the better natural stimulants.

Caffeine has been seen to promote both energy and metabolism.

It’s tried and tested, it definitely delivers.

The only thing we would say about it is that it’s in a proprietary blend.

You don’t know how much of this fat burner you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.

Citrus Aurantium

A poorer choice.

Citrus Aurantium, also known as Bitter Orange Extract has been thought to help fat loss and energy levels – however studies have shown otherwise.

In reality, this fat burner does very little. In fact, it has even been seen to cause several side effects when combined with caffeine – more on that later.

L-Carnitine

A mediocre choice.

L-Carnitine is an amino acid that promotes energy and metabolism.

However, studies have shown you need around 500 – 2500mg of this nutrient to see any real effects.

As this is a proprietary blend – you don’t know how much you’re getting, and whether or not it has been effectively dosed.

Garcinia Cambogia

A poor choice appetite suppressant.

Garcinia is a aggressively marketed as a nutrient that curbs hunger – however, there has been no evidence to come forward that actually backs up this case.

Studies have shown it has no real effect on appetite and will do very little to effect hunger.

Hordenine

An unreliable option.

Hordenine has been claimed to help burn fat, but the evidence behind it is mixed.

Studies have shown that Hordenine help burns fat for some people but not all of them.

More research needs to be done.

The effects are minimal, but it may be useful to have on board.

Tyrosine

An anti stressor.

Tyrosine is an amino acid that has been seen to help raise Dopamine and serotonin levels.

This may help to promote calmness and relaxation which can help to ensure focus.

GABA

Another calming nutrient.

GABA can help reduce anxiety and lower stress to create a calmer more focused mood.

Vinpocetine

Promotes memory and blood flow, does not help to burn fat.

Theobromine

Also promotes blood flow – which may help with absorption.

Again, does not promote fat.rari-lean-genes-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile on the market.

Core ingredients like Green Tea and Green Coffee Bean have been missed from this profile.

Not only that, it’s a proprietary blend. You don’t know how much you’re getting of the nutrients included, and whether they have been effectively dosed.

It’s also worth mentioning that some of the ingredients like the Citrus Aurantium, may cause side effects – while others aren’t even related to fat loss.

It’s not your best option.

Side Effects

Your main worry here is the Citrus Aurantium.

Users have reported various side effects when using this product including;

  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Increased Heart Rate
  • Increased Risk of High Blood Pressure

Needless to say it’s not your best option.
