Review Overview – What does Mr. Hyde Cutz do?
Based on a pre workout of the same name, Mr. Hyde Cutz is an all natural fat burner from Pro Supps claimed to:
- Increase Energy
- Support Performance
- Burn Fat
That last one being the factor we’re interested in most.
In this review, we look closely at Mr. Hyde Cutz to see how effective it really is.
You’ll be surprised by what we found.
How are the servings?
Honestly? Pretty bad.
Pro Supps make this fat burner deliver like a pre workout.
And why wouldn’t they? They already own a pre workout of a similar name – but that doesn’t mean it’s the right move.
You only get one serving a day here.
For effective fat burning you need at least 3 – 4 to get regular top ups and the desired effects.
Plus powders in general for these means are an inconvenience. This was a huge oversight on Pro Supps part.
What about the ingredients in Mr. Hyde Cutz?
Needs improving.
The problem is that many of the ingredients used are ineffective for their purpose.
On top of that there may be some side effects – however on the whole the nutrient profile is lacking.

Caffeine Matrix
Caffeine is a great choice in a fat burner.
One of the best natural stimulants, this nutrient is linked to numerous benefits.
Regular consumption of caffeine can lead to increased energy levels, boosted metabolism and more effective power output while training.
CLA
Conjugated Linoleic Acid however, isn’t as good.
Studies have shown this amino acid isn’t strong enough in itself to influence the right receptors for fat loss.
It’s not an effective option.
L-Carnitine
With a combination of 2 strains of L-Carnitine, Mr. Hyde Cutz has a good amount of this amino acid to boost both energy and metabolism.
Capsicum
A solid thermogenic and appetite suppressant.
Essentially the nutrient that gives chilli its heat. Capsicum boosts your body’s core temperature which initiates a cool down process which burns more calories.
It has also been linked to suppressing appetite.
L-Arginine
An amino acid that is thought to promote Nitric Oxcide, but the actual effects are quite different.
Nitric Oxcide promotes blood flow and muscle pumps. However oral consumption of L-Arginine has been shown to have very little effect due to absorption.
For the best results your better with something like L-Citrulline which is converted into L-Arginine in the liver, ensuring you get it in your system.
Choline Bitartrate
A cognitive enhancer, to help with focus. But how good is it really?
Studies have shown it may promote learning and liver health.
It won’t have that much of an effect as a fat burner.
L-Tyrosine
An anti stress amino acid.
L-Tyrosine may help with focus, and help you handle the high amount of caffeine in Mr. Hyde Cutz.
Dandelion Extract
A diuretic that can help you cut water weight.
There’s mixed evidence of Dandelion Extract having any positive effects – and it also could lead to side effects.
It’s not that effective and you should be careful when you use it.
Theacrine
Structurally similar to caffeine, Theacrine is also thought to work in a similar way.
However, studies have shown that it can be unreliable with ineffective results.
It may not be your best bet for improving energy levels.
Yohimbe
An appetite suppressant.
Essentially a strain of tree bark, Yohimbe may suppress your appetite – but it’s not all good.
Studies have shown that it’s also linked to several side effects which may interfere with your training.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
On the whole, Mr. Hyde Cutz could definitely do with some improvement to the formula.
Although there are a few good ingredients here like Capsicum – a lot of the core effective choices like Green Tea, Green Coffee Bean and Glucomannan have been ignored.
Plus there’s also a risk of side effects, and some which have little to no impact at all (looking at you CLA).
It’s not the best nutrient profile.

Side Effects:
The main place areas you’ll run into trouble here is the dandelion extract and the Yohimbe.
Dandelion Extract is a diuretic – it cuts down your water weight, however this can also lead to dehydration. This may cause migraines and headaches.
Yohimbe is an appetite suppressant, but studies have shown that it may cause hypertension, anxiety and gastrointestinal distress.
Some big risks here.
