But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at FitMiss Burn to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 – 2 servings a day, you’re body isn’t getting enough of the servings it needs to stay in constant ‘fat-burning’ mode.

After a few hours, the effects will wear off and you won’t be making any progress.

Ideally, what you need is around 3 – 4 servings a day. This will keep the nutrient flow throughout the day consistent and help you constantly burn more calories.

FitMiss Burn doesn’t have the best serving schedule.

What about the ingredients in MusclePharm Fitmiss Burn?

They could be a lot better.

The main problem in this product are the proprietary blends – you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.

On top of that, there’s also some side effects with some of the nutrients used, which is something you definitely need to consider.

There’s too many ingredients to list in the product – so we’ve made a summary of the most notable ones, here’s what you need to know:fitmiss-burn-side-effects

Guarana

Not the best choice – but acceptable.

Containing a few antioxidants that may promote overall health, Guarana also contains a small amount of caffeine that may help with energy and metabolism.

Given the small amount in Guarana though – the effects will be minimal.

Caffeine

Here’s where things will get more interesting.

Caffeine in its purest form will help to promote energy, metabolism and in some cases, even power output.

It’s good for keeping you motviated in the gym and pressing forward.

Green Tea

One of the better thermogenics on the market.

For Green Tea, it all comes down to the catechins in the herb. After being absorbed by your body, the catechins help suppress the enzyme that reduces norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone.

With more norepinephrine now circulating in your system, your body will burn more calories.

Yerba Mate

Similar to guarana.

Contains some caffeine, but not a lot – won’t make much of a difference here.

Yohimbine

A poor appetite suppressant.

Yohimbine has been seen to reduce hunger cravings, but it has also been seen to cause numerous side effects in the user.

We’ll cover more on this later.

Glucomannan

A good choice for appetite suppression.

A fibrous complex extracted from the konjac root – glucomannan swells in the stomach and promotes overall appetite suppression.

This will make you feel more full and crave less food.

Raspberry Ketones

A poor fat burner.

You’ve probably come across Raspberry Ketones a lot – unfortunately it’s terrible.

Heavily marketed by the supplements industry because of how it easy it is to manufacture – most of it is made synthetically, there have been no studies that show Rapsberry Ketones as an effective fat loss aid.

Quick Note: As there are many nutrients in these proprietary blends – we don’t have time to go through them all. Only the most important ones.

Many of the ingredients we haven’t covered are either ineffective, or irrelevant to what you’re looking to achieve when taking FitMiss Burn.

Plus, remember that all these ingredients do not have their true dosages on display – they may not be as effective as they make out.

Saw Palmetto

A bad fat burning choice.

We’re curious as to why MusclePharm used Saw Palmetto in their female fat burner – it’s a male health nutrient.

There are links to Saw Palmetto helping with prostate health – but not female health or fat burning.

Cayenne Pepper

A good thermogenic.

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin – which is the chemical which gives the chili it’s heat. This heats up your body’s core temperature.

With a higher core temperature, your body needs to regulate itself to get back to normal temperatures – in doing so it burns extra calories which helps you burn more fat.

Chromium

A mineral that may help lower insulin levels.

In doing so chromium can negate against additional fat gains.

Panax Ginseng

Not an effective fat burner.

May help promote blood flow – but not much else.

Astralgus

An anti inflammatory.

This may help reduce bloating or swelling – but will do nothing towards fat loss.

Uva Ursi and Dandelion

They both have similar functions, so we’ve grouped them together.

These nutrients are both diuretics – you lose more water weight while using them.

This gives you a good short term results, but can have negative ones long term. We’ll cover this more in the side effects section.

Ginger

Nothing special here – ginger has been seen to help digestion.fitmiss-burn-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile for a fat burner, and there are several reasons why.

We keep saying it, but the proprietary blends are bad news. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.

Not only that, many of the ingredients used are either ineffective or irrelevant – with some even causing side effects.

It’s not looking good.

Side Effects

The main things that you have to worry about here are yohimbe and the diuretics (Uva Ursi and Dandelion Extracts).

The Yohimbe, although seen to help with appetite suppression – it has been reported in several cases to cause; nausea, anxiety, hypertension, gastrointestinal distress.

Whereas the diuretics could lead to dehydration if you’re not drinking enough water, which may cause;

  • Dizziness
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Light-Headedness

All things you definitely don’t need while cutting weight.

We also thought we’d mention that Raspberry Ketones has been banned by the EU as a novel food – although no real side effects have been reported, it has not been studied long term, and may cause problems in the long run.

Is there anything better than this fat burner?

Definitely.

We’ve scoured the market for the best fat burners that promote:

  1. Thermogenic Calorie Burning
  2. Energy Levels
  3. Fat Loss
  4. Appetite Suppression

And we’ve narrowed it down to just three.
