Review Overview – What does Maxcor Thermogenic Diet Pill do?
Made by Maxcor, this is an all natural fat burner that has been claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Metabolism
- Fat Loss
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at Maxcor Thermogenic to see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only 1 serving a day, Maxcor Thermogenic needs a lot of work to effectively promote fat loss.
1 serving a day only gets you so far. Think about it; The benefits only last for a few hours – so for the rest of the day you’re not burning any additional fat or making any real progress.
What you need are regular top ups throughout the day to keep your body supplied with the nutrients it needs to keep you burning fat.
Ideally for this to work you need around 3 – 4 servings a day – so it’s clear that Maxcor doesn’t offer this benefit.
What about the ingredients in Maxcor Thermogenic?
They’re not that great.
The first problem with this product is the enormous proprietary blend.
Proprietary blends are when the individual dosages of the ingredients used are grouped together hidden under one larger value.
This is usually shown as special ‘formula’ or ‘matrix’ however it’s just the manufacturer failing to show transparency.
You don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be overall.
Not only that. Several of the ingredients used lack the proper clinical backing – and some have even been banned by the EU.
Here’s what you need to know:
Garcinia
A poor option.
Garcinia Cambogia is a supposed appetite suppressant that you can find in various supplements.
However the only thing Garcinia has been seen to do is increase the flavor of a dish.
It hasn’t actually been seen to improve appetite suppression in studies.
It nothing more than a product of marketing.
Green Coffee
This is a better option, and a potent thermogenic.
Green Coffee Bean is packed with chlorogenic acid – a nutrient that cuts down on the glucose in your liver.
By reducing your amount of this energy source, it encourages your body to look for other energy sources – namely your fat cells.
This helps to burn more calories and fat with no extra effort.
5-HTP
A nutrient has been seen to help with rest and recovery – it doesn’t however, help with fat loss.
5-HTP can help promote rest, and in some cases even sleep.
It’s good as a night time supplement – but not that great as a fat burner.
Cayenne Pepper
One of the better thermogenics on the market.
Cayenne Pepper contains capsaicin – the component that gives chili its heat.
This raises your body’s core temperature which initiates a cool down process in your system – which burns extra calories and fat cells with no extra effort on your behalf.
Caffeine
Arguably the best natural stimulant on the market.
Caffeine has been linked in numerous studies for helping to promote both energy and metabolism levels.
It’s also been seen to help promote power output, which could have an advantage while training.
Raspberry Ketone & African Mango
Both claimed to be effective fat burners – and both do not have the studies to support this.
Both Raspberry Ketones and African Mango (Irvinia Gabonensis) have failed in human studies when it comes to supporting fat and weight loss.
Not only that, both ingredients have been classed as ‘novel foods’ by the EU,’and have subsequently been banned in Europe because of this.
This is because both nutrients are relatively new and under researched – they may be linked to causing side effects.
CLA
Also known and Conjugated Linoleic Acid.
Although usually marketed as a stimulant-free fat burner. Studies have shown that CLA doesn’t have a strong enough effect to initiate fat loss.
It fails to have enough of an impact on the right receptors in your body to burn fat.
It’s not an effective option.
White Kidney Bean
A carbohydrate blocker that works by reducing the amount of starches digested by your body.
However, it has only been seen to work in some studies – and it may not have reliable results for everyone.
Guarana
A caffeinated herb that has been seen to support general health.
The main benefit of Guarana is it’s caffeine levels – this helps to increase both energy and metabolism, while even boosting overall power output.
Rhodiola Rosea
A Scandinavian herb that has been seen in several studies to promote both mood and mental well-being.
It can even help with reducing fatigue.
Although this doesn’t help with fat loss – it could help you be more motivated while training.
L-Arginine
A poorer option.
L-Arginine has been seen in numerous studies to help promote blood flow and circulation by improving nitric oxide levels – which could help with nutrient flow and absorption.
However, studies have also shown it is not absorbed well in oral supplementation.
It won’t give you the desired effect in Maxcor Thermogenic.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile you can find in a fat burner.
The first issue is with that proprietary blend. You don’t know how much you’re getting of each ingredient, or how effective it will be overall.
Second, both Raspberry Ketones and African Mango are ineffective, and even banned under the ‘Novel Foods’ law in the EU.
Finally, there are numerous other ingredients in this product that just lack the clinical backing to support them as a fat burner – adding a proven thermogenic like Green Tea would make more of a difference.
It’s not a good profile.
Side Effects
Although a lot of the ingredients listed are ineffective, they have not been linked to side effects.
From our experience it shouldn’t cause you side effects.
