Review Overview – What does MuscleTech Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite Sport do?

Made by MuscleTech, this is an all natural fat burner claimed to promote:

  • Weight Loss
  • Energy
  • Fat Loss

But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite Sport to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

There’s definitely room for improvement.

With only 2 servings a day – your body isn’t getting a constant enough supply of nutrients to burn fat throughout the day.

Think about it. Each serving will only be active for a few hours, after that it wears off and your back to your standard fat burning rate.

For the best results you need to keep the effects constant – around 3 – 4 servings per day is a much better set up.

MuscleTech could make some serious improvements here.

What about the ingredients in Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite Sport?

Not that great.

There’s only 2 core ingredients in this product that seem to promote fat loss.

The rest only have a minor impact – or in some cases can even cause side effects.

A lot more core fat burning nutrients like Green Tea, Cayenne Pepper and Glucomannan would definitely strengthen this blend up.

Here’s what you need to know about the main nutrients:

Green Coffee Bean

One of the better thermogenics on the market – this is down to the chlorogenic acid.

Cholorogenic works by cutting down the amount of Glucose in your liver.

This encourages your body to look for other sources of energy – namely your fat cells.

It helps you burn more stored fat and increases overall thermogenesis.

Ophiopogon

This option may help to regulate blood sugar – although this has only been seen in rat studies.

By regulating blood sugar this nutrient may help to lower insulin levels. High insulin can lead to additional fat storage.

The less of it you have the better – although, there may not be enough here for a real effect – and we don’t know how well it performs in humans.

Caffeine

One of the best natural stimulants out there.

We don’t need to tell you how effective caffeine is.

Its been seen in various studies to help promote energy, metabolism – and to some extent power output.

It’s a solid addition – and a great nutrient in this product.

Yohimbe

A species of bark with a mix of both good and bad effects.

On the good side, Yohimbe has been seen to promote appetite suppression – which can help to reduce hunger cravings.

However, on the bad side, it’s been seen to cause side effects in several users.

We’ll cover more on what these problems are later.

Gotu Kola

From the Kola Nut – and not the best option for fat loss.

Kola Nut has been seen in several studies to promote blood flow and circulation.

This may help mildly with absorption – but it won’t have any major effects on fat loss.

L-Theanine

A good amino acid for focus – but not for fat loss.

L-Theanine can help to increase calming hormones in the body like GABA and Serotonin – this may keep you more relaxed and focused.

This may allow you to concentrate for longer in the gym.

Perilla Extract

Nothing special here – Perilla Extract contains Omega-3s and Fatty Acid.

Although good for overall health – it won’t do much in the grand scheme of things for your fat loss.

Grains of Paradise

The jury is still out of the Grains of Paraside – more research needs to be done.

Grains of Paradise are structurally similar to Ginger – there are some theories that it may help fat loss. However; nothing has been proven.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best ingredient line up for a fat burner.

Breaking it down there are only 2 ingredients here that effectively promote fat loss – the Green Coffee Bean and the Caffeine.

The rest of the nutrient profile has only a few supporting ingredients – that don’t do much, and some that can even cause side effects.

There are definitely better options.

Side Effects

Your main concern here is definitely the Yohimbe.

Many users have reported the following side effects when using the nutrient:

  • Anxiety
  • Hypertension
  • Gastrointestinal Distress

This is definitely not what you want while burning fat.

Is there anything better than this fat burner?

Definitely.

We’ve scoured the market for the best fat burners that promote:

  1. Thermogenic Calorie Burning
  2. Energy Levels
  3. Fat Loss
  4. Appetite Suppression

And we’ve narrowed it down to just three.
