Review Overview – What does GNC’s Lean Burn 60 do?
Manufactured by GNC, Burn 60 is an all natural fat burner that has been claimed to promote:
- Thermogenesis
- Calorie Burning
- Energy and Metabolism
But how well does it work?
In this review, we look closer at Lean Burn 60 to find out how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Poor.
The servings in Burn Sixty just aren’t that great – with only one a day, there’s only so much your body can absorb at a time.
Plus after a few hours, those fat burning effects quickly wear off.
Ideally, you need something with 3 – 4 servings a day. This doesn’t overload you, and it allows your body to remain in that constant fat burning mode.
What about the ingredients in GNC’s Total Lean Burn 60?
Not great.
There seem to be no core thermogenics in this product.
All there is are vaguely relative, supporting nutrients to fat burning, or some with absolutely no clinical backing.
It’s not a great line up. Here’s what you need to know:
Guarana
A god source of antioxidants and caffeine.
Guarana may support certain health benefits, but it’s real advantages come from the caffeine.
Caffeine not only promotes energy and metabolism but it can also boost power output. It’s a great addition to have in the gym.
Black Tea
Full of theaflavins – a molecule found inside black tea.
Although it doesn’t promote fat loss, black tea may help promote muscle recovery and the stress hormone cortisol to a minor extent.
It’s a nice secondary ingredient, but definitely not a front runner.
MegaNatural Grape Skin and Seed
There’s nothing special about Grape when it comes to fat loss.
Mainly used to promote blood flow – this will help get the nutrients of the fat burner around your system quicker, but it won’t give you any more effective results.
Ginger Root
Used for digestion.
Ginger Root may settle the stomach and ease digestion.
However it does not promote fat loss.
MegaNatural Gold Grape Seed
Again, same as the other Grape – promotes blood and nutrient flow, not fat loss.
Dill Weed
May help intestinal health – but it’s poorly researched.
There’s no information that links Dill Weed to fat loss.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile on the market – not by a long shot.
There’s only 1 half-effective fat burner here; the caffeine, but boosting metabolism is more of a secondary effect.
So many of the ingredients either lack clinical backing or just aren’t relevant to fat loss.
Some green tea, green coffee bean or cayenne pepper would’ve been better here.
Unfortunately however, this is just not the case.
Side Effects
There have been no side effects reported with GNC’s Total Lean Burn 60.
Is there anything better than this fat burner?

GNC Lean Burn 60 Review Conclusion
All in all, this isn’t one of the best fat burners around – not by a long shot.
From this review, here’s what you need to know about Lean Burn 60:
- Poor Servings – With only 1 serving a day, you can’t ensure day-long fat-burning.
- Ineffective ingredients – Many of the ingredients used lack clinical studies.
- Missing core fat burning nutrients – Green Tea, Green Coffee Bean and Cayenne Pepper all would’ve made a difference here.
As you can see, it’s not your best option.
