How are the servings?


With only 1 serving a day, there’s only so much this fat burner can do for you.

Your body can only absorb so much at a time.

What you need is something that gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients it needs to stay in that fat burning mode.

For the best results that’s 3 – 4 servings a day.

GenetX could make improvements here.

What about the ingredients in BurnPM?

Not that effective for fat loss.

Don’t get us wrong – although there are plenty of nutrients in here that promote healthy sleep, there’s only 1 well-dosed option for fat loss.

It’s definitely not your best option.

One of the better relaxants.

GABA helps promote calmness and relaxation in your brain.

This will help get you to sleep faster.

Green Tea

A solid thermogenic.

Green tea has been seen in numerous studies to help promote thermogenesis.

After being absorbed, the catechins in the green tea work to promote norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone.

This will make you burn more fat cells than normal, with no extra effort.

Valerian Root

May help as an anti-anxiety and sedative – this ties in with the sleep promoting angle.

However it doesn’t promote fat loss.


There are two types of carnitine in here which both promote energy and metabolism.

However, whatever way you slice it, there’s just not enough in this product.

In total there’s only 100mg. Studies have shown for the best results you need 500 – 2500mg per serving.

It’s heavily under dosed.


May help reduce anxiety and blood pressure.

Again, great for the PM angle, but doesn’t promote fat loss.

Griffonia Seed Extract

A source of the sleep and recovery promoting nutrient 5-HTP.

This may help increase overall sleep. But not fat loss.


Good for mood and may help with overall sleep.

Seen to lower the stress hormone cortisol, and promoting dopamine and serotonin which promotes good mood.

Remember, this is another that doesn’t promote fat loss.


Finally another sleep promoter.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole this isn’t the best nutrient profile for fat loss.

The ingredient that will make a real difference here is the green tea. You could argue for the L-Carnitine, but it’s too under dosed to have any real effect.

It seems to be much more focused on its secondary function to boost sleep than actually burn fat.

Side Effects

There have been no side effects reported with GenetX’s BurnPM.

The ingredients are all natural – just on the whole, not that effective.

On the whole this isn’t the best fat burner out there.

From this review, this is what you need to know about BurnPM; 

  • Poor Servings – With only 1 dose a day, you won’t attain day-long fat burning. The effects will wear off quickly. 
  • Only 1 good fat burner in here – Product too focused on good sleep, Green Tea is the only effective fat burner. 
  • Missing core nutrients – Many appetite suppressants and thermogenics are missing from this product.

All in all, it isn’t your best option.
