Review Overview – What does FitFarm Clean + Mean do?
Made by FitFarm US, this all natural fat burner has been claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Weight Loss
- Fat Loss
But how well does it really work?
In this review, we look closer at Clean + Mean to see how effective it really is. This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Could be better.
As there’s only 2 servings a day, you may not get day-long fat loss.
This is because the servings will only work for a few hours at a time. You need multiple throughout the day to get the best effects.
For the best results, look for a fat burner that has 3 – 4 servings a day, this ensures your body gets that constant supply and that you can keep burning fat.
What about the ingredients in Clean + Mean?
Not great.
Don’t get us wrong, there are some good ingredients in this fat burner, but they’re outweighed by the number of ineffective ones.
We’ve made a list of the core nutrients in this fat burner and how they effect you.
This is what you need to know:
Guarana
A good option for caffeine.
Guarana is a caffeinated herb that may help to promote energy and metabolism levels.
It contains a few anti oxidants that may promote overall health as well.
As the caffeine dose is minimal, this is definitely a supporting ingredient.
Green Coffee Bean
One of the better thermogenics, Green Coffee Bean is full of chlorogenic acid that promotes fat loss.
Chlorogenic acid works by cutting down the glucose stored in your liver. This limits your body’s energy supply and encourages it to look other areas to fuel itself – mainly your fat cells.
Garcinia Cambogia
A poor appetite suppressant.
Garcinia Cambogia has been thought to help to reduce hunger cravings after being supplemented – however studies have shown that it fails to achieve this.
Human testing shows that it may increase the flavor of the food that it is being taken with – but doesn’t reduce future hunger cravings.
Green Tea
One of the better thermogenics.
Green Tea has been seen to burn fat and extra calories in your body.
This is all down to antioxidants in the Tea known as catechins. After being absorbed the catechins help to promote norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone, the result being more fat burned.
Ginseng
Good for blood flow, but not for fat loss.
Ginseng has been seen to help produce nitric oxide in your body which helps promote overall blood and nutrient flow.
This may help with nutrient absorption, but not fat loss.
Rhodiola Rosea
One of the better options for mood and motivation, but not for fat loss.
Rhodiola has been seen in numerous studies to help reduce fatigue and depression while promoting feelings of well-being.
This could make you more motivated to train – but doesn’t directly burn fat.
Maca
Another nutrient that doesn’t promote fat loss.
Maca has been seen in numerous studies to help boost male sex drive to a minor extent – however, when it comes to fat loss, this has no real effect.
It’s not a great option.
Ingredients Bottom Line: On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile you can expect in a fat burner. Although there are some good ingredients in here, there’s an issue with the use of ineffective ingredients. A lot of the nutrients used have very little backing when it comes to boosting fat loss. The only ingredients worth looking at here are the Green Tea and the Green Coffee Bean. The rest are close to being ineffective. It’s not your best option.
