Review Overview – What does Fat Loss Superior do?

fat-burner-superior-reviewBrought to us by Weight Loss Development Inc. Fat Loss Superior is a natural fat burner claimed to promote:

  • Fat Loss
  • Metabolism and Energy
  • Appetite Suppression

But does it really?

In this review we’ve take a good look at the servings, ingredients and science behind this product, and we’ve been surprised by what we’ve seen.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Good.

With 3 servings a day, Fat Burner Superior has a good system for keeping your body constantly supplied with the nutrients it needs to keep burning fat throughout the day.

The only thing that’s holding it back are it’s ingredients, which we’ll cover next.

P.S.: We’ve made a shortlist of the fat burners with the best ingredients that have these kinds of servings. To see which ones we recommend both for men and women, see them all in the links below:

What about the Ingredients in Fat Burner Superior?

Mixed, but not great.

The main problem with Fat Burner Superior is how the ingredients are delivered – a proprietary blend.

This stops us knowing how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be. This also stops us knowing good the effective ingredients are as we don’t know their exact dosage.

Take a look:fat-burner-superior-ingredients

The Good:

Capsaicin on the other hand is a lot better…

A compound found in hot chili, capsaicin is a great thermogenic for helping burn extra calories.

After being absorbed by the body, the heat of the capsaicin increases core temperature – this means your body has to start work on cooling it down. This regulation process burns extra calories and keeps you burning fat.

The L-Carnitine is a good choice, but is there enough?

L-Carnitine is great for raising energy levels and metabolism, but is there enough here?

Studies have shown for the best effects you need around 500 – 2500mg of this amino acid to see the best results. And considering this is a proprietary blend, it’s hard to see it that way.

It doesn’t look like it’ll have a great effect.

Green Tea’s a good choice…

One of the better thermogenics out there, after this nutrient is absorbed by the body the catechins in the green tea promote norepinephrine, the fat burning hormone.

Plus you’ll also get an energy boost from the caffeine in this nutrient.

And Green Coffee Bean is just as good…

Another great thermogenic. The chlorogenic acid in this bean cuts down the glucose in your liver. Without this energy supply, your body looks elsewhere for it’s fix, which turns it on to burning fat.

Caffeine is a good too…

A reliable stimulant known for it’s ability to boost metabolism, energy levels and power output in the gym. It’s great for low calorie diets and pushing you further when you feel you can’t.

The Bad:

Garcinia Cambogia is overrated…

Originally thought to be an effective appetite suppressant, and marketed heavily as such – Garcinia cambogia doesn’t actually help you crave less food.

In every study carried out on the nutrient, it has never been seen to suppress appetite but may have some merit as a flavour enhacner.

As are Raspberry Ketones…

Raspberry Ketones are another failed nutrient, again heavily marketed as a weight loss aid, although studies have proven otherwise.

This nutrient has only been seen to work in rats after they consume large amounts, unfortunately the effects don’t scale up to humans.

Yohimbe is another serious issue…

Although claimed to have effective appetite suppressing benefits, you have to ask yourself at what cost?

Unfortunately, many studies have reported subjects using this nutrient have experienced several unwanted side effects when improperly dosed. You can find more about these in our side effects section later on.

White Willow Bark isn’t the best either…

Although it helps with circulation, which may have its advantages, it doesn’t promote fat loss.

It mat be good for blood flow, but if you don’t have any circulation issues, it’s not going to make that much of a difference to you.

Citrus Aurantium (Synephrine) is also a cause for concern…

One of the worst nutrients in the supplement industry, Synephrine has been linked to a range of side effects when combined with caffeine or caffeinated herbs – both of which Fat Burner Superior has.

To find out exactly what problems it causes, you can check the side effects section further down.

And Coleus Forskohlii isn’t that bad, it’s just not significant…

Although linked to reducing fat mass in the body, some studies of this herb have been unreliable. And when it’s been seen to work the effects have been quite insignificant.fat-burner-superior-main-image

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole this isn’t the best nutrient profile out there.

The main stumbling block is the proprietary blend, we don’t know how much is being used or how effective it will be.

Although there are some good ingredients here, there are a few that cause side effects, and this is the last thing you want to experience while cutting.

There are a lot better options when choosing a fat burner.

Side Effects

There are 2 main problems here, the synephrine and the yohimbe.

Synephrine has been seen in numerous cases to cause side effects when mixed with nutrients like caffeine, or caffeinated nutrients like Green Tea. Those affected experience:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Risk of High Blood Pressure
  • Increased Heart Rate
  • Dizziness

Whereas Yohimbe can cause:

  • Anxiety
  • Hypertension
  • Gastrointestinal Distress

Overall it’s not looking good, and we suggest you use this fat burner with caution.

Fat Burner Superior Review Conclusion

As you can see, this Fat Burner Superior isn’t your best choice – and there are several reasons why.

This is what you need to know:

  • Poor Servings – Only 1 a day, not enough for sufficient fat burning
  • Proprietary Blend – Don’t know how much we’re getting of each ingredient, or how effective it will be
  • Potential Side Effects – Both Synephrine and Yohinbe have be reported to cause problems
