  • Weight Loss
  • Energy Levels

But just how well does it work?

In this review, we look closer at Fat Burner XL to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Could be better.

With only 2 servings a day, you’re not giving your body that constant supply of the nutrients it needs to continuously burn fat.

With lower servings, the effects will wear off after a couple of hours – so you’re only burning fat for a small amount of time throughout the day.

Ideally what you need are regular servings. With 3 or 4 a day, your body can be constantly supplied with the ingredients it needs to keep burning fat on a day-long basis.

What about the ingredients in Fat Burner XL?

There are some good choices, but they’re not all great.

Several of the nutrients used lack the clinical backing to help with fat loss.

Not only that, some of the others lack the correct dosages to give you the results you need.

Take a look:dr-shreds-xl-side-effects

Garcinia Cambogia

An appetite suppressant – but with very little evidence behind it.

Typically used to season food, researchers thought that because it made food more satisfying it could help to reduce overall hunger cravings.

However, studies have shown that this just isn’t the case.

In reality, Garcinia does very little to improve appetite suppression and will not help you cut calories.

Green Tea

This is a far better option.

Green Tea is a potent thermogenic that has been seen in numerous studies to increase thermogenesis.

By using its catechins to boost norepinephrine in your body – the fat burning hormone, Green Tea allows your body to burn more calories without any extra effort.

It’s a great option.

Green Coffee Bean

Another good choice.

Green Coffee Bean is packed with Chlorogenic Acid – an effective thermogenic.

By cutting down the amount of glucose in your liver, Green Coffee Bean encourages your body to move into areas to get energy – namely your stored fat cells.

CLA

A poorer choice.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid was thought to help cut fat – but studies have shown it doesn’t have enough of an impact on the right receptors to make a difference.

It’s not the most effective option out there.

Caffeine

Arguably the best natural stimulant on the market.

It’s been the best for energy for centuries, and we can’t see it being beaten any time soon. Caffeine is great for boosting energy levels and metabolism.

It doesn’t stop there, studies have also shown that it can help promote power output in the gym too.

It’s a good all rounder.

Carnitine

A solid amino acid, and in a good amount too.

L-Carnitine has been shown to help improve energy and metabolism levels – with 500mg per dosage, it’s a good amount to enjoy some of these benefits.

Salacia Oblonga

At only 100mg – Salacia is under dosed compared to what studies recommend.

It’s a glucose and carbohydrate blocker, which reduces fat storage.

For the best results studies suggest 240 – 1000mg.

You need a lot more in Dr Shred’s Fat Burner to get the optimum results.

Banaba Leaf

An anti diabetic nutrient that may help lower insulin levels.

However this nutrient is less researched. It may not be a reliable option.

Forskholii

A more unreliable choice.

Coleus Forskholii has been thought to do two things; burn fat, boost testosterone.

However, studies have shown that the results aren’t actually that impressive, and can be rather unreliable.

It’s not a strong choice.dr-shreds-fat-burner-xl-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole this is a pretty middle-of-the-road fat burner.

Some of the ingredients are good, others are ineffective.

As an overview it’s not great and there could be some improvements here. Adding glucomannan to this mix for appetite suppression would definitely make a lot of difference.

Side Effects

To our knowledge there have been no reports of side effects with Dr Shred’s Fat Burner XL.

It’s not the most effective fat burner out there, but it’s definitely not harmful.
