Review Overview – What does Cellucor’s SuperHD Xtreme do?

superhd-xtreme-reviewSuperHD Xtreme is a fat burner brought to us by the team at Cellucor, one of the more respected supplement companies.

This product is claimed to:

  • Boost Energy
  • Promote Fat Loss
  • Enhance Mood
  • Increase Fat Metabolism

But does it really?

Because we think otherwise. We’ve taken our time looking at the facts behind this product and we’re actually quite surprised by it.

Especially as there’s potential for side effects.

See what we’ve found:

How are the servings?

Not great.

With only 2 servings a day, you aren’t going to get round the clock fat burning benefits from this supplement.

What you need is a constant supply, for the best results look for a fat burner that has 3 – 4 daily servings a day – this ensures your body is constantly getting a regular supply of the correct nutrients, and gets your physique closer to that goal, lean figure.

FYI: We’ve done a lot of research into the fat burner market and narrowed it down to 3 supplements that pull this off the best. You can check them out below:

What about the ingredients in SuperHD Xtreme?

Okay – but there are some red flags.

The main problem being that they’re all part of a proprietary blend. This means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be.

However, we do know how much caffeine is in this product – and it’s way too much. Take a look:superhd-xtreme-suppfacts

300mg of Caffeine is just asking for trouble…

Although caffeine is a great natural stimulant for increasing energy, power output and your metabolism – 300mg of caffeine per capsule is too excessive. Especially as 2 servings are recommended a day.

This can lead to some serious side effects that you can read about in the next section.

And the TeaCor might just be making things worse…

TeaCor is Cellucor’s own blend of Tetramethyluric Acid. The main effect of this compound is to lengthen the impact of caffeine, which means the intensity is going to last even longer. Which could make side effects even harder to shake.

At least the Cayenne Pepper helps…

Not a stimulant – just a great thermogenic. Cayenne chili pepper has been seen to raise your body’s core temperature which can lead to a cool down process which burns extra calories.

This is great for achieving that calorie deficit.

And the Zembrin (Sceletium Tortuosum) is just a shot in the dark…

A nutrient believed to help lower stress levels. This is Cellucor’s attempt at damage control for the insane amount of caffeine they’ve put in this product – however, there have been no studies to confirm Sceletium Tortuosum actually works.

And the Rauwolscine is in the same vain…

Another nutrient that has no evidence to back up the claims. Rauwolscine is thought to help with appetite suppression, however there have been no effective studies to confirm this.superhd-xtreme-main-image

Ingredients Bottom Line:

Overall this is literally just a dangerous shot of caffeine. 600mg a day over 2 servings.

The only other benefit this product has going for it is the cayenne pepper, but even then, we don’t know how much is being used here.

The proprietary blend doesn’t help, and the risk of side effects makes it a dangerous choice. Be careful with this one.

Side Effects

The main concern with this product is obviously the caffeine.

300mg is excessive, and 600mg, which is the daily serving of this supplement, shouldn’t be attempted. Too much caffeine can lead to problems such as:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Raised Blood Pressure
  • Heart Palpitations
  • Dizziness

Exactly what you don’t want while you’re cutting.

Cellucor SuperHD Xtreme Review Conclusion

As you can see, with the problems associated with this product, we strongly recommend against it’s use.

Here are our main concerns:

  • Proprietary Blend – We don’t know how much of each ingredient is used (apart from the caffeine)
  • Poor Servings – Only 2 a day, the dosage needs to be lowered as spread out across the day
  • Side Effects – The caffeine in this product is stupidly high, it will most likely cause side effects
