Made by Cabomoor, this is an all natural fat burner claimed to promote:

  • Energy
  • Weight Loss
  • Fat Burning

But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at Thermogenic Formula to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:


How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 serving a day, this isn’t your best option for consistent fat loss.

The main problem here is that only getting one serving, only gives you a few hours of benefits.

This isn’t ideal when you want to burn a lot of fat.

Ideally what you need is something with 3 – 4 servings a day. This gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients it needs and keeps you in that fat burning mode.

It’s not a great start – and unfortunately, there’s an issue with the ingredients too.

What about the ingredients in Cabomoor’s Thermogenic Formula?

Not that great.

The problem here is with the proprietary blends.

A proprietary blend, is when numerous ingredients have their individual dosages hidden and instead are grouped together under one larger dosage.

This means you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, or how effective it will be overall.

Not only that, various ingredients may also cause side effects.

Caffeine 

Arguably the best natural stimulant, caffeine is a solid choice for any fat burner.

Seen to help promote both energy and metabolism – this nutrient is good for keeping your gym session at high intensity, while on a low calorie cutting diet. 

Phenylethylamine 

Not a great option.

Phenylethylamine is an amino acid that has been linked to raising happy hormones such as dopamine and serotonin which may help to improve mood.

However, studies have shown that supplementation of this nutrient may not be that effective. It is broken down too quickly after absorption to properly activate.

It’s definitely not your best option.

L-Tyrosine 

A better choice amino acid.

L-Tyrosine is an anti-stressor, and may help with focus.

By reducing the amount of the stress hormone cortisol in your system – L-Tyrosone lessens distractions and allows you to concentrate more on your workout.

Green Tea 

One of the better thermogenics.

Green Tea is packed with anti oxidants known as catechins.

These help to promote your body’s production of norepinephrine – the fat burning hormone.

This means you’ll burn more calories and fat cells with no additional effort.

Raspberry Ketones 

A poorer option.

Raspberry Ketones are one of the most overrated nutrients used in the supplements industry.

Aggressively marketed as a fat burner – although studies have shown that it isn’t actually that effective.

It has only been seen to work in large amounts in rat studies – and has never effectively scaled up to work for humans.

Synephrine 

Another issue.

Synephrine is has been claimed to help promote fat loss and energy levels – however, studies have shown that effects of this nutrient are lacking.

There is little evidence for Synephrine having any positive effects, and to make things worse – many users have reported side effects when taking the nutrient.

It’s not your best option here.

Yohimbe

An appetite suppressant that has been known to have its drawbacks.

Although it has been seen to help curb hunger – there are various side effects associated with Yohimbe which could reduce its effectiveness and cause problems.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best fat burning nutrient profile on the market.

The first main issue are the proprietary blends. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting – or how effective it will be overall.

The next issue is the Synephrine and the Yohimbe – both nutrients have been seen to cause side effects (which we’ll cover in the next section) while other ingredients like Raspberry Ketones have no effect at all.


Side Effects

Your main concerns here are with the Synephrine and the Yohimbe.

Synephrine has been seen in numerous studies to cause problems such as:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Light Headedness
  • Increased Risk of High Blood Pressure

Whereas Yohimbe has been seen to cause anxiety, hypertension and gastrointestinal distress.

Neither of these are good options.
