Review Overview – What does BPI Sports’ STIM HD do?
A product brought to us by BPI sports, STIM HD is a fat burner on the market which has been claimed to promote:
- Energy Levels
- Metabolism
- Appetite Suppression
But how well does it do this?
In this review, we take a close look at the ingredients, servings, and science behind this product to see if it really is up to standard.
We were quite shocked by the results. Take a look at what we found:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only one serving a day, you will not get a lot of benefit out of this fat burner.
Fat burning is a day long process, your body need a constant supply of nutrients to continue to burn the extra calories. With only one serving a day, these are facts will wear off very quickly.
What you should be looking for:
Ideally, you want a fat burner that has 3 to 4 servings a day. This gives your body that constant supply and insures round-the-clock fat burning.

What about the ingredients in STIM HD?
Not the best -by far.
Some of the nutrient in this fat burner are good, however there is one problem that lets it down: the proprietary blend.
A proprietary blends are one of the worst things you can come across in the supplement industry. It puts all the ingredients under one value, meaning we have no idea how much of each individual ingredient is being used.
Meaning, we don’t know how effective this but burner can actually be.
Here’s the run down:
L-carnitine is a good choice however the dosage is a different question…
Although this amino acid promotes metabolism and energy levels, you need a high amount to get the full benefits.
Studies have shown for the best results you need anywhere between 500 – 2500mg for this nutrients to have full effects.
It is doubtful that STIM HD contains this amount.
The Aspartic Acid is an unusual choice…
Seen to promote testosterone levels, this nutrient may preserve muscle mass after training.
However, studies have shown that you need at least 1500 mg or more on a daily basis to get the full effects from this nutrient.
Again, that would be doubtful to see here.
Caffeine is a better option…
Arguably, one of the best natural stimulant out there. Caffeine has been seen to promote metabolism, energy levels, and power output. Ideal for anyone training hard in the gym.
Green coffee bean is another safe bet…
Full of Chlorogenic acid, this uncaffeinated Coffee Bean has been seen to cut down on glucose in the liver.
This makes your body change it energy source from glucose to fat cells. It’s a great thermogenic.
Garcinia Cambogia on the other hand, is not so effective…
Once thought to be an appetite suppressant, numerous studies of this plant have never confirmed these effects.
It is a dud ingredient.
Green tea is a far better option…
Possibly one of the best natural thermogenics. After being absorbed by your body, the catechins in green tea promote norepinephrine throughout your body – the fat burning hormone.
You also get a mild energy boost from the herb’s caffeinated properties.
Yohimbe on the other hand could lead to side-effects…
Although seen in some cases to work as an appetite suppressant, this treebark has been linked to several side-effects when dosed him properly.
And as this is a proprietary blend we have no way of knowing how much is used. You can find out more about these side-effects in the section below.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
There are a few good ingredients in STIM HD, but unfortunately the proprietary blend let’s it down.
We don’t know exactly how effective each ingredient is, because we don’t know how much is being used.
In addition, the yohimbine gives this produce a side-effect risk, as we don’t know the exact dosage.
It’s definitely not the best nutrient profile we’ve come across.

Side Effects
The main concern with STIM HD is the yohimbine.
If improperly dosed, (being more than 0.2mg/kg body weight) this nutrient can lead to side-effects such as anxiety, hypertension, and gastrointestinal distress.
The last thing you want when working for an effective cut.

On the whole, this is and that much of a great fat burner, and there are several reasons why.
This is what you need to know from this review:
- Poor Serving Schedule – with only one serving a day, you’re not going to get fast burning results.
- Proprietary Blend – we don’t know how much of each nutrient is being used, or how effective it will be.
- Potential side-effects – there Yohimbe in this product has been linked to several side-effects when dosed improperly
This fat burner needs a lot of work, we don’t recommend it at this point in time.
