In this review, we look closer at Hydroxyburn Shred to see how effective it really is.

How are the servings?

Not that great.

There are two problems here, the first being this fat burner is in powder form.

This means that for multiple daily servings you can’t just carry capsules around with you – you have to carry around a tub of powder.

It’s very impractical.

On top of this, there are only 2 servings a day. This means you won’t ensure day long fat loss throughout the day.

This is because your body can only absorb so much at a time, and each serving’s effects will only last for an hour or two.

For the best results you need a constant supply of nutrients. Ideally you want a fat burner that has 3 – 4 servings a day.

What about the ingredients in Hydroxyburn Shred?

Not that great.

Although not harmful – the ingredients in this fat burner aren’t that effective.

The problem with Hydroxyburn Shred is that it only contains one thermogenic: Green Tea.

Aside from this, most of the other ingredients in this product don’t have many clinical studies to back up their claims.

Garcinia Cambogia

One of the poorest performing appetite suppressants.

Although claimed to help curb hunger – the actual results from this nutrient are far different.

Studies have shown that Garcinia fails to reduce hunger cravings and has very little overall effect when supplemented.

This nutrient is more of a passing fad than an effective choice.


A caffeinated herb.

Guarana helps to promote energy levels and to some extent metabolism.

It contains several anti oxidants that may promote overall health.

It’s a good supporting option, but not a main player.

Green Tea 

One of the better fat burners out there.

Green Tea is an effective thermogenic. After being absorbed, the catechins in the green tea help to promote norepinephrine, the fat burning hormone in your body.

With more of this, you burn more calories and stored fat with no extra effort.


A solid amino acid – and 2000mg is more than enough.

L-Carnitine has been seen in numerous studies to help reduce fatigue and boost metabolism.

It’s a good option for keeping you going while training.


A mineral that may help support fat loss to a mild extent.

By helping to regulate blood sugar levels and lower overall insulin – chromium may help to reduce the overall amount of fat your body stores after eating.


An anti-stressor amino acid.

Tyrosine has been seen to help promote feel good hormones like serotnin and dopamine.

This can help to both calm and relax – this is great for keeping you focused allowing you to concentrate more on training.


Arguably the best natural stimulant.

Caffeine has been used by almost everyone and it’s incredibly effective.

Having been seen to promote energy and metabolism – it’s great for keeping your energy up in the gym, while also supporting against fat gains.hydroxyburn-shred-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best fat burning profile we’ve seen – but it’s not the worst either.

The main problem is the lack of fat burners in this product.

The only true thermogenic here is the Green Tea Extract. Including Green Coffee Bean or Cayenne Pepper or both would’ve given it an extra lift.

Also replacing Garcinia with a more effective appetite suppressant like Glucomannan would’ve made more of a difference.

There’s a lot of improvements that could be made to Hydroxyburn Shred.

Side Effects

All the ingredients used seem to be safe. The caffeine dose is low, and although some of the ingredients may not be that effective – they’re not dangerous.

We’d say there’s nothing to worry about.

From this review, here’s what you need to know about Hydroxyburn Shred; 

  • Servings need improvement – With only 2 servings a day, this doesn’t ensure day long fat loss. 
  • Impractical delivery – Two servings a day means you have to carry around a tub of powder throughout the day for your second serving, which can be annoying. 
  • Misses Core Nutrients – Not all ingredients used promote fat loss, and missing a lot more effective options. 

As you can see, it’s not your best option.
