Review Overview – What does Banish Metabolic Enhancer do?

Made by American Educational Products, this is a fat burner claimed to promote:

  • Metabolism
  • Fat Loss
  • Mood
  • Stimulant Free Energy

But how well does it work?

In this review, we look closer at Banish to see how effective it really is, and if it’s really worth the money.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Not great.

With only 1-2 servings a day, Banish doesn’t go the extra mile to keep you in that day-long fat burning state.

After a few hours the effects wear off. For the best result you need to give your body that constant supply of the nutrients it needs to keep it burning fat throughout the day.

Ideally this is around 3 – 4 servings a day. One every few hours.

What about the ingredients in Banish Metabolic Enhancer?

Also not that great.

The main issue is that the product Ian made up of proprietary blends.

This means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be overall.

How can you? You don’t know what dose is being used.

Not only that, some ingredients may cause side effects.

Take a look:banish-metabolic-enhancer-side-effects

7-Keto DHEA

DHEA is supposedly a hormone regulator, but studies have shown it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Usually used in testosterone boosters, DHEA is thought to promote testosterone, and therefore fat loss.

However, studies have shown it isn’t as effective as once thought, with some studies showing that increases estrogen instead in some cases.

It’s a very unreliable choice – and not one to be taken lightly.

L-Tyrosine

An anti-stressor.

Not a fat burner, but may help calm the effects of caffeine.

Seen to lower stress and promote serotonin and dopamine, L-Tyrosine may help keep you focused during training.

Thyronine

Also known as T2.

May help boost metabolism and increase weight loss by how it influences the thyroid hormonal balance.

However, there is limited evidence out there for it working.

More research has to be done.

L-Carnitine

An amino acid that helps to boost both metabolism and energy levels.

However, the dosage here is incredibly important.

Studies have shown for this nutrient to be effective, you need at least 500 – 2500mg of L-Carnitine to see effective results.

Being in a proprietary blend, this isn’t your best option.

Resveratrol

Linked to improving blood flow.

This may help nutrient circulation, but overall it won’t make that much difference.

Fucoxanthin

Found in seaweed and may reduce fat mass.

However, more research is needed to prove this is the case. It may also have a time delay to function.

It’s still unclear whether it actually works.

Bitter Melon

An indirect fat burner.

Bitter Melon has been seen to help reduce overall glucose levels.

This could potentially reduce insulin levels which would lower overall fat storage.

However, it may cause side effects. More on that later.

Cayenne

One of the better thermogenics on the market.

Cayenne pepper has been seen to increase your body’s overall core temperature which initiates a cool down process.

This helps regulate your body heat and burns lots of extra calories in the process, helping you to burn fat with no extra effort.

White Willow

May help to relieve joint inflammation.

Nothing special here, the effects are mild and don’t promote fat loss.

Pterostilbene

Like another form of resveratrol. Will help nutrient flow throughout the bloodstream.banish-metabolic-enhancer-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, Banish doesn’t have the best nutrient profile we’ve seen in a fat burner.

The main problem are the proprietary blends. You don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used, or how effective it will be overall – because you don’t know the dosages.

Not only that, a lot of key fat burners like Green Coffee Bean and Green Tea are missing from this product.

Plus there’s a side effect with the Bitter Melon.

Its seriously lacking.

Side Effects

The main ingredient you should be concerned about here is the Bitter Melon.

Seen in studies to risk colonic inflammation and anal bleeding, it’s definitely not your best option if you’re looking to get safe results.

Is there anything better than this fat burner?

Definitely.

We’ve scoured the market for the best fat burners that promote:

  1. Thermogenic Calorie Burning
  2. Energy Levels
  3. Fat Loss
  4. Appetite Suppression

And we’ve narrowed it down to just three.
