Review Overview – What does Alpha Cuts do?

Made by Alpha Nutrition, this is an all natural fat burner claimed to promote:

  • Focus
  • Thermogenesis
  • Energy

But how well does it work?

In this review, we look closer at Alpha Cuts and see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

They could be better.

With only 2 servings per day. There’s only so many benefits that this fat burner can give you.

Your body can only absorb so much at a time – and the effects only last a few hours.

For the best results, and to stay in that fat burning mode, you need 3 – 4 servings a day.

This gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients it needs, and allows you to continually burn fat throughout the day.

Alpha Nutrition needs to improve this.

What about the ingredients in Alpha Cuts?

Not great.

It seems to Alpha Nutrition seem to have missed a lot of core fat burning ingredients in this product.

Where’s the green tea, the green coffee bean, cayenne pepper – all core thermogenics and none of them are here.

Not only that, there’s a side effect risk too.

Here’s what you need to know:alpha-cuts-side-effects

Alpha Lipoic Acid

Linked to metabolism – but not that effective.

ALA has been seen in some studies to help with metabolism and regulate blood glucose.

Although the effects are minor. It could make some contribution to lowering fat storage.

Cinnamon Cassia

Cinnamon has been linked to boosting metabolism – but we can’t recommend the Cassia form.

Cinnamon Cassia has been shown to have toxic properties when taken long term.

We’ll cover more about this later on the side effect section – but it’s not your best option.

Caffeine

One of the better natural stimulants.

Caffeine has been seen to help boost both energy and metabolism. Which is perfect for training and fat loss.

Not only that, studies have shown that it may even promote power output, which is great for going the extra mile.

Oolong Tea

Not as good of a choice.

Definitely not as potent as green tea – oolong may mildly help with thermogenic fat loss.

However the overall result will be mild.

Gugglsterones

Another poor addition.

Gugglsterones are used for the belief that they elevate thyroid function.

However, studies have shown that results for this happening are minimal. There is no evidence that this nutrient actually promotes thyroid function.

Citrus Aurantium

Definitely the poorest choice here.

Citrus Aurantium, also known as Synephrine has been seen to cause several side effects when combined with caffeine or any caffeinated herb.

Not only that, it was originally thought to burn fat and increase energy levels – but studies have shown that it has barely any effect.

It’s not a good option.

Bioperine

Nothing special here, it’s essentially black pepper.

This may help with absorption.alpha-cuts-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this definitely isn’t one of the best nutrient profiles we’ve seen.

Many of the ingredients are ineffective when it comes to fat loss – and the only ingredient with any merit appears to be the caffeine.

Not only that some of the nutrients used could have a negative impact on overall health, or cause side effects.

It’s not looking great.

Side Effects

The main things you have to worry about are the Cinnamon Cassia and the Synephrine.

Cinnamon Cassia has been seen to have toxic effects, and even cause organ damage when taking long term – Cinnamon Ceylon is a much better and safer option.

Whereas Synephrine, especially when combined with caffeine has been seen to cause;

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Dizziness
  • Increased Heart Rate
  • Risk of High Blood Pressure

It’s definitely not what you want while cutting fat.

Is there anything better than this fat burner?

Definitely.

We’ve scoured the market for the best fat burners that promote:

  1. Thermogenic Calorie Burning
  2. Energy Levels
  3. Fat Loss
  4. Appetite Suppression

And we’ve narrowed it down to just three.
