Review Overview – What does Advanced Nutrition Systems’ Metabolic Sphere do?
This is an all natural fat burner, brought to us by Advanced Nutrition Systems.
Sure, Metabolic Sphere looks great and it’s claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Metabolism
- Thermogenic Fat Burning
- Focus
But how well does it actually work?
In this review, we take a closer look at Metabolic Sphere and show you how effective it actually is.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only 1 serving a day – there’s only so much you benefit that you can get from this fat burner.
You want to stay in fat burning mode for as long as possible – with 1 serving a day you’re only going to get a few hours.
Plus, your body can only absorb so much at a time.
Ideally, what you want is something that provides 3 – 4 servings per day.
This way you’re constantly being supplied with the nutrients you need, and your progress will be a lot faster.
What about the ingredients in Metabolic Sphere?
Not that great.
The majority of this fat burner is a full-on proprietary blend.
That means all the ingredients have been bundled in together. You don’t know how much you’re getting, or how effective it will be.
And there’s also a risk of side effects.
Check it out:
B12
One of the better vitamins for fat loss.
B12 has been linked to supporting various metabolic reactions in the body.
With this extra supply, there should be a mild boost in your metabolism.
Caffeine
Arguably the best natural stimulant out there.
Caffeine has been linked to promoting energy, metabolism, and if there’s enough power output.
It’ll definitely help towards your gym sessions when working out.
Ashwagandha
Not a fat burner, but may have some benefit.
One of the main benefits of this herb is its ability to promote calmness and de-stress you.
This could help if you’re sensitive to the caffeine in this product.
Bitter Orange and Synephrine
Not the best choice – in fact one of the worst.
Synephrine is derived from Bitter Orange, and they’re both believed to give the same kind of effect – stimulate and burn fat.
However, studies have shown it isn’t that good at it – in fact, it may even cause side effects, especially when combined with caffeine.
These nutrients are pretty poor, and to some effect dangerous. We’ll cover the side effects in more detail later on.
Huperzine A
Used for mental performance, but not all it’s cracked up to be.
Although it has been seen to improve focus to some extent, studies have shown that you can build up a tolerance to this nutrient pretty quickly.
To get the most benefit you may have to cycle Huperzine A – which is hard when you take this fat burner every day.
Yohimbine
An effective appetite suppressant – but it may cause side effects.
You can find out more about the risks of this bark extract in the side effects section later.
Mucuna Pruriens
Also known as Velvet Bean – this nutrient is known for its serotonin and may increase your body’s level of L-Dopa.
Is this a good thing? It’ll help reduce your body’s stress levels. But it won’t necessarily hell with fat loss.
Safflower (CLA)
Used for the Conjugated Linoleic Acid.
CLA is a stimulant-free fat burner. However, it only seems to work in theory.
By manipulated certain receptors in your body, it is thought to increase fat loss.
However, studies have shown that in practice, it does have a strong enough impact to make a difference.
It’s not a great choice.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
On the whole, Metabolic Sphere doesn’t have the best nutrient profile.
The first problem is the proprietary blend. There’s so many ingredients, and we don’t how much we’re getting with pretty much any of them.
There’s also a handful of ineffective ingredients, and even some that cause side effects.
All in all, it’s just not a great choice.
Side Effects
The main two ingredients you have to worry about here are the Bitter Orange/Synephrine, and the Yohimbine.

These include:
- Headaches
- Raised Blood Pressure
- Increased Heart rate
- Increased Chance of Stroke
Whereas the Yohimbine has been linked to:
- Anxiety

Metabolic Sphere Review Conclusion
On the whole, this isn’t the best fat burner out there – by far.
From this review, this is what you need to know about Metabolic Sphere by Advanced Nutrition Systems:
- Poor Servings – With only 1 serving per day, you can’t ensure round the clock fat burning.
- Ineffective ingredients – Many of the nutrients used lack the proper clinical backing for maximum effect.
- Potential Side Effects – Both Bitter Orange Extract/Synephrine and Yohimbe have been linked to causing side effects.
All in all, it’s not a great choice.
